A native of India, Dr. Samin K. Sharma emphasizes the importance of determination and hard work in achieving goals. He earned his Medical Degree with the highest honors from S.M.S. Medical College in Jaipur, India, in 1978, and later completed a residency in Internal Medicine at NY Infirmary-Beekman Downtown Hospital. Following this, he pursued a fellowship in Cardiology at Elmhurst Hospital and interventional training at The Mount Sinal Hospital.
Beyond his clinical work, Dr. Samin K. Sharma is involved in teaching and mentoring medical students, contributing significantly to the continuing education of cardiologist in India. He founded Eternal Hospital (EHCC), a 250 bed hospital in India, providing care to all patients including those without resources to pay for healthcare. His wife, Manju Sharma, successfully manages the hospital.
Dr. Samin K. Sharma is a distinguished Fellow of the American College of Cardiology (FACC) and an honored member of the Master Interventionalists of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography Interventions (MSCAI).
